Batteries Plus Bulbs Finds High Quality Payment Solutions with Ingenico Group
The one word that stands out working with the Ingenico Group is quality. They provide a quality product, they have a quality support team and they provide that product at a great price. It’s really the trifecta of bringing together quality people, quality systems at an appropriate price.
I’ve been working with the Ingenico Group for about a year now. It’s been very positive. The group, actually the support staff has been great to work with. They take a look at Batteries Plus Bulbs as specifically a customer that has a problem to solve. They tend to ask us questions about how we’re going to use the product, not just trying to simply sell us a product. Compared to other technology providers that I’ve worked with, the Ingenico Group has been very open and responsive to trying to understand how Batteries Plus Bulbs wants to use their product. They’ve been extremely supportive in working with us and our point of sale vendor. The bottom line for us is security and that’s why we looked to the Ingenico product. We are rolling out with the Ingenico point to point encryption, tokenization and setting the stage for EMV compatibility, the smartcard technology that’s coming down the road. Nobody can pick up a newspaper today and not read about, unfortunately, some kind of data security breach somewhere. So for the Batteries Plus Bulbs systems- our system, to secure the data for the customer that Ingenico device allows us that security and peace of mind. It helps us deploy that point to point encryption which is huge that protects both us and the customer, as well as paving the way for future technologies--the EMV capability, the NFC capability as well. The one word that stands out working with the Ingenico Group is quality. They provide a quality product, they have a quality support team and they provide that product at a great price. It’s really the trifecta of bringing together quality people, quality systems at an appropriate price.
